Though in mendarda town there is no any college relating to girls only. So the approach of the parents is that the girls get full education up to 12 std. at your institute then why not for college graduation?
Mr. Ebhalbhai emphasized on girls' education and established college and schools to encourage girls' education and empower them with worldly wisdom and strength. In year 2003 he has started a college for woman only at mendarda named “Matrushri Monghima Mahila College, Mendarda”.
At there approx. more than 1200 girls can get. benefit for graduation degree.
Makwana Ebhalbhai Amrabhai alias Ebhalmamawas born on april 13, 1947 in a kathi darbar family at Devgadh, a small village of mendarada Taluka, dis. junagadh.
He started his career in education, rather than handling his father’s occupation like farming and all that. So at the age of 13 years, he was sent to boarding school at amreli for higher secondary education and for graduation he selected DKV college of Jamnagar.
After completing his graduation, he had started to do job as a science teacher in G.P. High school, mendarada.
Education is like the springboard which can leapfrog any country on the path of development. Creating responsible and rational citizens is a must and only a well-directed education can do that.
To take a step forward in this direction, Mr. Ebhalbhai Makwana, who is a science graduate with B.Sc. B.Ed. from D.K.V. College, Jamnagar, came up with a very simple but effective idea to give the proper education for the rural area students.
"The Combination of Devotion, Dedication and Commitment Results in Excellent Cultivation."
